The Story Of Morgan Klaiber

Written By: Samuel Hope

Here is the story of Alberta’s very own Morgan Klaiber, a rising star hailing from Cypress County, near Medicine Hat.

Morgan embodies the true spirit of an Alberta country girl. When she’s not captivating audiences with her vibrant performances or pouring her heart into songwriting, she dedicates her time to working full-time on her family’s cattle ranch. The winter months become her creative sanctuary, allowing her to focus on writing and recording when the ranch work slows down. Morgan's musical journey is deeply rooted in her upbringing, where she was surrounded by the enchanting sounds of traditional country music and the iconic rock hits of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. This rich musical background has shaped her unique blend of contemporary country, giving her songs an authentic edge. Inspired by the powerful vocals of Cody Johnson, it has long been her dream to collaborate with him, as both artists share a passion for storytelling through music.

In addition to her recording achievements, Morgan recently graced the stages of some of the biggest music festivals in Canada, including Country Thunder Alberta and Big Valley Jamboree. There, she performed on the same stage as her idol, Cody Johnson, and mainstream country heavyweight Luke Combs. On August 17th, 2024, Morgan played an exhilarating trio of shows. She kicked off her night on the main stage at Country Thunder, later moving to the Country 105 stage, and capped off her evening with a performance at the King Eddy bar in the heart of Downtown Calgary. Following her electrifying set at Country Thunder, which electrified the crowd, an eager audience flocked to the Country 105 stage, eager for more, drawn in by her dynamic stage presence and unforgettable performance.
