Brandon Lorenzo represents the essence of an Albertan Country Star. His musical journey began at the tender age of 3 when he began singing on his way home from church. He further honed his skills by studying opera at the Royal Conservatory until the age of 12. The move to Airdrie, Alberta, was a pivotal moment that fueled his passion for country music, shaping the course of his artistic development.

Brandon’s upbringing was deeply influenced by 90’s country music, with artists like Toby Keith and Brooks & Dunn shaping his musical tastes. His distinctive style reflects this influence, particularly through the incorporation of fiddle and steel guitar, which adds a rich texture to his sound. What stands out about Brandon’s creative process is his approach to songwriting; he prioritizes writing lyrics before crafting the melody, which is quite different from the common practice among many artists. This lyrical-first approach not only sets him apart but also adds a unique depth to his music.

Brandon would love the opportunity to collaborate with Zach Top, as they share a similar style and musical taste that could lead to an incredible synergy. Additionally, if he had the chance to open a show for any artist, he would choose Vince Gill, who has inspired him greatly throughout his musical journey.

When he’s not performing on stage or travelling, he dedicates his time to teaching second grade in an elementary classroom. His passion for working with children is evident, and many faculty members appreciate that he balances his teaching career with being a country singer.

At the age of 18, Brandon began his musical journey by performing at various local bars in town, passionately working to establish his name and connect with the community. He also takes the stage frequently at Ranchman’s Dancehall & Cookhouse.

Brandon is set for a remarkable summer in 2025 with over 50 shows already booked, especially with The Calgary Stampede, featuring 15 shows around the grounds. As he prepares to share new music in April 2025, there’s no doubt this journey will be filled with inspiration and excitement!
